48,000 Omanis are eligible to buy their dreams home at a subsidised rate in the first phase. The client has reached out to these eligible families ahead of residential unit sales in selected neighbourhoods of Phase 1. The project is extending government-subsidised residential land grants to eligible buyers, along with reduced-interest financing plans through both commercial and government banks. The ministry has invited interested parties to visit the Future Legacy corner at Muscat City Centre, available until October 25, 2023. Earlier this year, the ministry inked several agreements with government and private entities for the Phase 1 development. To assist with financing, a pact was signed to offer RO 240m in housing loans, benefiting 3,000 applicants with an increased loan limit of RO 80,000, in association with Housing Bank of Oman. Additional financial agreements were secured with major banks including Bank Muscat, Ahli Bank, Oman Arab Bank, National Bank of Oman, Sohar International Bank, Sohar Islamic Bank, Bank Dhofar and Alizz Islamic Bank. The project's development is planned in four stages. Phase 1, from 2024 to 2030, will feature 6,743 housing units, a private hospital, a fuel station, four schools, 19 commercial plots and other amenities. Phase 2, from 2028 to 2035, will encompass 2.6m sqm, housing over 23,000 residents in 4,200 units. Phase 3, from 2033 to 2040, will span 2.3m sqm and accommodate over 21,000 people in 3,500 housing units. The final phase, projected for 2038 to 2045, will unfold over approximately 5.5m sqm and provide homes for over 26,000 individuals in 4,500 units.

Client has invited tenders for Consultancy Services for Overseeing the Developers Construction Work (ODCW). The Ministry of Housing intends to develop the Sultan Haitham City (SHC) Phase-1 in team up with reputed developer’s. The purpose of the consultancy is to manage the contract with the developers and oversee developer’s construction works in various neighborhoods at the phase-01 for ensuring its compliance with masterplan and development guidelines, quality of the product, monitoring the performance etc.
The SHC phase-01 is divided into six neigh boarhound (6, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13) and shall include the construction of Villas, Semidetached villas, Town houses, Apartments, retail which include Private Hospital spaces, office spaces and Hospitality etc. in addition to the roads and infrastructure.
The components/units identified in all neighborhoods under this scope  to compete within next six (6) years (i.e. 2024-2029).
And all other components like, Mosques, Cultural centre, roads, landscapes, hardscapes, parks, etc as identified in the masterplan.

Client has also invited tenders for Sultan Haitham City - Phase 01, Works Package 01 - Enabling works
The Tender is with four options for tenderers to submit their proposal as below for 4 options
1) Option-1 Roads/Infrastructure Development Area (ROW)
2) Option-2 Wadi stream u/s & d/s
3) Option-3 Big Park and Surround
4) Option-4 Roads/Infrastructure Development Area (ROW), Wadi stream u/s & d/s & Big Park and Surround
The following instructions to be followed while submitting the tender,
1) The whole of the options (i.e., Option - 1, 2, 3 & 4)
2) Selected options (Any selected options from option 1, 2 & 3)
3) While selecting the item 2 above, tenderer required to fill all items "Zero" in other options.
4) If two options selected by any tenderer, the combined prelims can be filled in Option-4, Bill No. 01 Preliminaries in addition to individual options and other Bills in option 4 can be filled with "Zero".
